We are diving into our most vibrant campaign yet for the 39th Annual Swim Across the Sound, and your story can be part of it. Join the sea of blue that will be lining our streets in a city-wide display of hope.
Honor a loved one, celebrate a survivor, and showcase your business while supporting cancer patients. Every banner purchased funds the Swim Financial Assistance Program, helping cancer patients in treatment cover essential living expenses like rent, utilities and transportation, regardless of where they receive care.
Your support changes lives – and it can change the lives of others facing cancer. Here is a testimonial from one of our patients:
“I am so grateful for Swim Across the Sound after my breast cancer diagnosis. As a nurse, I was familiar with disease and disability, yet I watched my own life suddenly come to a complete standstill. Treatment and complications kept me out of work for longer than expected. During a time filled with fear, uncertainty, and recovery, your generosity brought real relief, comfort, and hope. Thank you to the incredible donors, volunteers and swimmers who make this possible. I encourage others to donate if they can – the impact of this gift extends far beyond financial support.”
Swim banners will be on display at McLevy Green in downtown Bridgeport, St. Vincent’s Medical Center, St. Mary’s by the Sea, the Bridgeport Ferry Terminal, and Captain’s Cove Seaport.
